Up early and over to Starbucks for a spot o tea and a scone. Off we head for the border.
We cross at the Peace Arch.

We stop off at the Totem Poles and walk around a wee bit.

We cross over the Lions Gate bridge and up towards Whistler.

We stop off in Squamish for lunch. We stopped off here the last time we were up too. We went to "The White Spot" for lunch.
Got gas here too $1.10 a liter.
Had my first ever Cadbury's peanut butter bar.

Might be something to do with the
Irish.

We made our way up the familiar Sea to Sky highway which was not so familar anymore as they are turning this little windy road into a two lane highway each way. They are doing it for the 2010 Olympics.
We check in and head to room 339

Relax a bit and have a look at what's making news in the local papers.

We walked into town. Cross over the river on our way.

Strolled throughout the village. An
Irish woman came up and asked us for directions out of the town. She was from County Meath. I set her on her way.
We went into the Olympics visitor center.


Then back up through town.



Into The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner.

Walked by the mountain on the way back. They are all set up for the festival "Crankworks" tomorrow.

We go in the back door to the ole hotel.
